Today is “Less Salt” Day, so I thought I'd prepare a video and quick post with my tips for reducing salt in your diet.

Tips for Cutting Back on Salt:

  1. Instead of turning to salt for flavor, ramp up your spices and herbs.
  2. Spike & Kelp are great alternatives to salt – keep them on your table instead of a salt shaker.

Around The Island Part Two

Around the Island

Scott & I took his Dad and Andrea for a drive around the island. This island is teeny tiny---in fact, it could fit comfortably within Brooklyn!

Along the way we saw herbivores.

I freaked out and made Scott pull over so I could take pictures. 

While the male was generally happy to have his picture taken his girlfriend was not.
