The fridge-clearing dish I love (thanks to the reality tv I watch) Bibimbap

Sometime last year Netflix suggested a Korean-based reality show to me and I've sinced watched every season of every Korean reality show. I am not a reality TV show watcher. I'm not even much of a TV watcher, but Physical 100, Culinary Wars, and Squid Game (the reality competition) sucked me in! Those sets and challenges are i-n-c-r-e-d-i-b-l-e.

Anyway, after Bibimbap was showcased on Culinary Wars, I strolled down to K-town (Koreatown in NYC, centered on 32nd Street between 5th …

Happy Monday :)

Week 10: Reduce duplicates (utensils, towels, etc.)

Another week where I'm ahead of the game ;)

At the end of last year I reduced my towel and linens. We now only have 6 towels, which is more than enough for two adults and any guests we might have, and two sets for our bed plus one set for the air mattress if we have guests.

Other Fun Facts:

The origins of deviled eggs can be traced all the way back to ancient Rome! The Romans were the first to boil …

Posted by:Lindsay S. Nixon Category: recipe

Happy Monday...

Make It Tonight with a story:

We received a last minute invite to visit friends about 3 hours away. When we arrived, our friends apologized that they didn't have anything for us to eat since they weren't vegan.

I asked if I could look through their fridge and pantry...

After a quick browse, I decided to make this dish that EVERYONE enjoyed, including our non-vegan hosts.

It's the Spinach Coconut Curry from the meal mentor app.

Dinner …

Wow this is bliss!! Week 9: Simplify your coffee or tea setup

Posted by:Lindsay S. Nixon Category: minimalist

This week's mini minimalist challenge was another show stopper!

I can't believe what a transformation this had on my kitchen, environment, and morning coffee routine.

Week 9: Simplify your coffee or tea setup

Since I am the only coffee and tea drinker in the house, I switched to this small Keurig a few years back. (I got it on sale for less than $50).

Prior to this challenge, I had my k-cups along with my tea bags in a cupboard …
