An Apology Posted by:Lindsay S. Nixon Category: Advice

Well this certainly has turned into a week of out-of-character posts!

Fans, Friends & Readers,

I'd like to formally apologize for the offensive ads on Happy Herbivore lately. For as long as I've been with Blogher, I've selected preferences and settings that signify to them that I do NOT want ads that publicize meat, dairy, fur, etc.

Despite my clear "vegan-only" preferences, Blogher chooses not to adhere to them. First it was the god-awful KFC "Buckets For a Cure" ad …

A personal note Posted by:Lindsay S. Nixon Category: Advice

I try to keep personal matters (aside from fun sight-seeing pictures & food!) off of Happy Herbivore because that's not what this site is about. Though now I feel it's time for this out-of-character post.

A Note from my Mom Posted by:Lindsay S. Nixon Category: Advice
Just returned from a great visit with our daughter in CA.  I must say as a proud Mom the food was fantastic. Starting with fresh squeezed  OJ, to   Fat-Free Blueberry Breakfast Cake, onto a dinner of Chickpea Cakes Piccata and topped off with Almost Fat-Free Chocolate Cherry Cheese Cake and later on a sample of her Fat-Free Vegan  Ice Cream all of which to die for.  I have to say she is my "TOP CHEF".

Aww! Thanks Mom!
