A great secret to cutting the fat in biscuits is using a banana in place of butter or shortening. In my original recipe (p. 38 of HHC) I call for using a food processor, but you can do it by hand, too! 

Here’s how:

I added the full banana in the video because I wanted a banana-flavored biscuit. (For a less banana taste, use half and a light greenish banana).

This morning I video tapped my green smoothie process--(yawn! I look like a tired herbivore!)
