There has been so much going on at SXSW! I don't know where to begin, from the great food to the interesting events. I am kind of sad that it is all ending. I won't forget crashing a Cooking Channel party anytime soon!

Yesterday I hosted a little party in Austin (well, maybe not too little -- 30 Herbies came!). My amazing and wonderful High School sweet heart (Chris) held it at his house.

I served Mexican Dip (p.230, HHC), Jalapeno-Cornbread (p. 68, EHH), Butter Bean Cookies (p.241, EHH) and a recipe from my new cookbook, HH Abroad -- Lentil Tacos!

I crashed a Cooking Channel Party.

After our first day at SXSW, Scott & I were walking around downtown Austin, looking for a place to grab a bite to eat.

As I mentioned the other day, my traveling has begun! Scott and I are in Austin for SXSW and got our passes today. I'm so excited!

We have gotten many suggestions of restaurants to visit while in town, and our first stop was to Kerbey Lane Cafe. 

How can I not love a place that serves tofu scramble in a taco?

The next place that we went to visit was Casa de Luz.

I am a vagabond, I never stay in one place very long and home address aside, I am constantly moving. I feel more at home when I am on the go and thankfully my "job" requires I travel pretty frequently to conferences and other events.
