A Vegan Taste of Maine Posted by:Lindsay S. Nixon Category: Travel

After Montreal we headed to Maine.

Our first stop was a small town (population: 600!) that's a popular stopover for AT hikers. Within my first hour there I saw a moose, a turkey cross the road AND there was a baby turtle the size of my big toe outside my door! I like to think the animals were welcoming me. LOL

I ordered my favorite: Grasshopper Supreme while Scott ordered the restaurant's most famous dish: No Name

On Sunday, Scott & I met up with our good friends Tracy & Ritche and we went to Life Alive for lunch, which …

A Vegan Taste of Greenville Posted by:Lindsay S. Nixon Category: Travel

Although my mom graciously cooked several meals during our visit we also went out to eat twice in Greenville, SC.

The first place we went was Lemongrass Thai in downtown Greenville. While Scott's parents are good about eating plant-based (they eat plant-based 90% of the time) some of my other relatives are not, so Thai was a perfect choice: they have something for everyone.

They had a special vegetarian menu (woohoo!) but several other options could easily be made vegetarian. …
