Every year on Earth Day (April 22) I ask my non-veg family and friends to try veganism for the day.
Eating a wholesome vegan diet is about the greenest thing you can do for the planet and making decisions with your fork is a whole lot easier than planting a tree (though still plant one if you can!)
So this Earth day, why not choose plant foods and help curb carbon emissions?

I can't believe another year has come and gone. 2009 has been a very exciting year for Happy Herbivore (and me). I returned to New York from California in July. In October, Happy Herbivore celebrated it's second birthday and in December, I celebrated my third veganniversary.
