- ¼ cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp light brown sugar
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- In a saucepan, whisk ingredients together with 1 cup water.
- Bring to an almost boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered until it reduces down to a teriyaki sauce consistency.
- Taste, adding more soy sauce or sugar as desired.
- Refrigerate up to 1 month.
