  1. In a saucepan, whisk ingredients together with 1 cup water.

  2. Bring to an almost boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered until it reduces down to a teriyaki sauce consistency.

  3. Taste, adding more soy sauce or sugar as desired.

  4. Refrigerate up to 1 month.
