For accountability, below is my picture proof I completed last week's Minimalist Monday task :)
I didn't just create the year-long series, I'm participating along with you!
Week 1 : Clean out one junk drawer
What happened: some items went back to their original home (e.g. the remote, hairbands, sunglasses, store credit, and dreidel), some items were tasks I finally completed (e.g. inserting the new batteries into my food scale), some items were tossed (e.g. pens that do not work), and the rest was organized in a more meaningful way.
Total time spent: 8.5 minutes
How did I feel after? LIKE SUPERWOMAN 💪 🦸
and I listened to an audiobook the entire time!!

MINIMALIST MONDAYS 2026 INFO
Each week in 2026, we focus on minimizing one small thing.
No extreme decluttering.
No aesthetic pressure.
Just small, thoughtful ways to clear space—for your time, energy, and peace of mind.
Tiny actions add up to big relief.
Here is the full year-long guide you can revisit every Monday.
OR hop on my special FREE newsletter for the series here .
If YOU cleaned out your junk drawer last week, I'd love to hear about it. Shoot me an email, send me a photo, xxx.
Happy decluttering,
Lindsay
p.s. If you missed week 1, no biggie. You can start with Week 2: donate 5 items you don't love
