Last year, I posted about getting Herbie tattooed on my foot. It was a very personal and emotional moment for me.
A while ago I received an email from a fan, Lindsey, asking if she could get a Herbie tattoo as well.

On Saturday January 7th, I got Herbie tattooed on my left forearm! I am so happy how he turned out and so happy to have you let me tattoo him
I decided I wanted Herbie as a tattoo because November 3 was one year of me being vegetarian. I tried vegetarianism before, multiple times but always failed for one reason or another. When I moved out with my boyfriend, I figured I would give it another chance. This time it stuck!
So, part of it is to commemorate my one year vegetarianism. Another part is because I do expect to become vegan and have it be a lifetime commitment.
Every time I had a "fallout" or craved something that wasn't vegetarian, I always go to your blog and read posts, old and new and those help me pass my rough patches.
You have truly become a role model for me, how you have changed your life around and you are able to stick to who you truly are. I look up to you and aspire to change lives and make a difference in the lives of people and animals.
