At the Food Network Festival, Alicia Silverstone mentioned this pasta dish (from her new book, The Kind Diet) is one of her favorite meals. Since cabbage also happens to be my new favorite vegetable to cook with, I decided to try it. I admit that I was a little worried about serving this dish to my husband. I expected him to snear and wonder what on eath I was serving him -- cabbage and pasta? together? Thankfully, his initial reaction was "this smells awesome" followed by "this is really good." Indeed it was good -- and very healthy! We loved this recipe and I hope to include it in our regular rotation.
