OMG! This is the cookbook of the year!! Well done Lindsay, I can’t WAIT to get my hands on this!
When ???
Hi Bev, I’m in the process of contacting agents and publishers - I want the cookbook to be available for sale in time for the Holidays, so whether its on the shelf or I self-publish, I’m hoping it will be ready by November or sooner! Thx!!
I’ve never felt such a strong urge to lick my computer screen before!
Holidays, hurry up & get here already!
i can’t wait for the book to be out!!!!
do let us know when it is on presale or something ( :
could you drop me an email if u are not too busy?? i can’t wait to get this book
looks awesome!!!
All of it looks so good ! I want it now (:
Yum. Very tempting. I’d be very curious to hear about the process of getting a publisher and all the background business of getting a cookbook published. I think it would be fascinating.
I would love to help in the tester area. First becuase I am so new to vegan living and cooking and secondly becuase I would love to help you (while enjoying some great food)… If there is a cut off date and I missed out I will just post when I make an available recipe and how it turned out for us.
Thanks!
And thank you for providing a very valuable resource for those of us crowding things off our plate not just cutting them!!
p.s. I have two young kids.. so they can help out too!

Hey Lindsay! Congrats on this cookbook. I want it. So where can I purchase one? online im guessing. well again can’t wait to get my hands on it.
I love you!
your cuz,
Kels
I was just wondering if you can tell me how many, and which recipes include wheat gluten, since I am a celiac- thanks so much!
The nuggets are made with wheat gluten and the bran muffins call for bran (which I believe has gluten in it) and flour - sorry!
The chickpea tacos, tacos del verano, curry quedadilla, bbq and french toast call for either corn shells, tortillas, bun or bread — but the actual recipes are gluten free. You could eat it without the “shell” or “bun” or substutite gluten-free shells/buns/bread (corn tortilla? corn shells? rice tortilla? gluten-free bread).
The corn doggies call for a little bit of flour, but you can substitute in a gluten-free flour.
The banana bread, cookies, brownies and cupcakes call for whole wheat flour, but I don’t see why you couldn’t just use gluten-free all purpose instead.
Most of the recipes can easily be adapted to meet your needs — with the except of the nuggets and bran muffins, which I don’t think could be made without the gluten.
I love the cookbook and I love everything I have tried so far…even my omni hubby loved the things I made from the cookbook.
I live at a high elevation, so baking is always a challenge…er…well, maybe actually more like a science class experiment, but I had really good results with your banana bread.
I am eagerly awaiting the next cookbook!
I just bought this and I’m super eager to try these recipes out. I’m not usually one to buy cookbooks as I like to improvise and what not, but the stuff vegandad has made looks phenomenal!
