I just love what Lindsay is doing, which is encouraging people to make healthy choices, and sharing with people that you don't have to spend a lot of money to make good, delicious, healthy food. That all being said, this is absolutely Lindsay's best work yet.

The latest Happy Herbivore tradition continues her tradition of user-friendly, tasty and healthy recipes. My wife uses's Nixon's books to cook food more than I do and as the beneficiary of her recipes, I highly recommend them.
All recipes come with essential information at the top of the page that tells you if the recipe is gluten free, soy free, fast to make or cheap to make.
I've made quite a few recipes out of the book and each time I'm amazed at how much flavor the recipes have in them.
This book alone, has given me the confidence to eat more vegan foods...there's so much flavor, and the animal products and dairy is NOT needed.
If you are looking to start a plant-based diet, or have been a vegan for years, you will not be disappointed with this (or any) Happy Herbivore cookbook. Although there are a number of other great authors out there, none are as healthy, quick and easy as Lindsay.
Ms. Nixon has the best and easiest vegan recipes that also offer a no-fat to low-fat solution to too many vegetarian recipes. Her recipes are great tasting and easy to make using easy to find ingredients. She has never steered me wrong...her cookbooks are the best and this one is no exception. If you are exploring the health benefits of a vegan diet, let Lindsay be your guide. You will not regret it.
