A few weeks ago, Shana emailed me to share some exciting news: Shana and her husband Tim opened their own cinema in Jacksonville, FL, and one of their amazing snack offerings is vegan nachos with a cheese based off of Happy Herbivore's queso recipe in HHC ! Woohoo!
What I love most about this is that Shana and Tim have followed their dreams to opening up their own movie theater. (For a little more info on Tim and Shana and how their project came together, check out this video . And these photos take you all the way through the construction and renovations of the cinema they've done over the past year. It's really inspiring!).
Of course, I love movies and wish so much I could have vegan nachos when I'm at the movies. WHY don't I live closer to Jacksonville, FL?
In any event, I'm stoked to know there's an independently owned vegan movie theater out there AND honored that they'd serve up some HH-inspired nachos (the nachos are low fat, nut-free, and oil-free — just like I like it!)
Also, in addition to nachos, SunRay Cinema also offers pretzels, pizza, cookies, and other tasty vegan treats!
