Q: Do you eat the skin of baked sweet potatoes, or peel them?

A: I eat the skins/leave them on for added nutrition, but it's a personal preference. Kind of like whether or not one eats the crust end of bread :)

Q: Both my dogs go nuts over fruits and veggies! Are you aware of any that may be harmful to dogs? Thanks!

A: I'm not a vet, but the ASPCA puts out a list of foods that are potentially harmful or deadly for your pooche (i.e. raisins, grapes, chocolates, fake sugars). 

Q: "I kind of "graze" every couple of hours.  I eat just enough so that I'm not hungry, but not full.  Then later I'm hungry again …

Q: How do you measure a cup of spinach — are you using a full packed 8 oz cup or do you measure by weight? (With the meal plan)

A: 1 cup of spinach is usually about 1 ounce. I grab a big handful, which is usually 1 cup measured or 1 oz on the scale.

Q: I find myself not wanting to cook during the week and I have been starting to find myself eating what I use to .....(fast food) can you help me with this?

Q: I'm going to be traveling to LA next month. I was wondering if there was any vegan restaurants, cafe, diners you can recommend. 

A: My favorite place to eat in LA is Swingers (2 locations) — they have several vegan menu items, including multi-grain banana pancakes, which I always get. 

If you find yourself in the Valley (Studio City/Sherman Oaks) go to the Hugo Taco stand for frozato, which is vegan soft-serve. It's amazing. The taco stand …
