Green Pumpkin Smoothie

Hi Herbies! Hope you're all having a wonderful Friday ;]

I've been making HH's Pumpkin Smoothie into a Green Smoothie lately and I thought I'd share with you! It's not very autumn like in Saint Maarten but my friends have started telling me that it's cooling down back home. You should definitely ease your way into eating pumpkin things..starting..now!

HH's Pumpkin Pie Green Smoothie
Serves: 1

Ingredients:
1 Full Serving of Dates (This is different depending on the product you buy, ours is 5-6 dates for 120 calories)
1/4 cup Pureed Pumpkin
1/2 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
1/2 cup Water or Non-Dairy Milk
2 Handfuls Spinach

Directions:
1. Add water (or non-dairy milk) to blender with dates, pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice. Blend these together first until the dates have been broken down.
2. Add spinach and blend until combined.

Notes: You can use fresh pumpkin that's been cooked, if you can't find canned. Pumpkin pie spice is a blend of cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg. You can blend your own to taste.
