Thanks Jan of eats nothing with eyeballs for posting this! Free Greenies. My dogs go absolutely crazy for their greenie treats. They like them almost as much as they like carrots. almost.
Thanks to Jessy of Happy Vegan Face, I am now aware that greenies are no-longer vegan (or vegetarian for that matter!). Quite sad. I’ve already complained to customer service about it but what else can be done?
Anyone have recommendations for new vegan treats I can give my fur-kids?

good idea on letting their customer service department peeps know that you’re upset - the more people who let them know, the better! perhaps they’ll see that people would like some vegan greenies for their pooches!
as for vegan treats i know that “yummy for dogs” offers a bunch of dog treat recipes
you could try out if you have some time for baking your own goodies! and
vegan essentials offers a few vegan treats online for pooches, too. i’ve seen the
Pet Guard biscuits at our local natural food store, and we buy the Newman’s Own Vegetable Treats at PetSmart (currently PetSmart does not sell them online), too. while julie (our pooch) isn’t vegan (her dog food is made from fish & sweet potatoes) - she loooooooooves vegan treats!
